AUDITIONS / TRY-OUTS: TUESDAY 29 MAY 2018 @ 7:30 - 9:00PM Course Length: 12 Tuesday Sessions Course Rehearsals: Tuesdays (dates below) Location: Paddington Academy Mirrored Dance Studios Level: Intermediate / Advanced COURSE DETAILS: We are looking for 8-10 female dancers of Higher Intermediate to Advanced level with experience of dancing Bachata. This Bachata Ladies Styling course is focused specificaly on the sensual, graceful, playful and sexy bachata styling for ladies. As always, a lot of focus on smooth and sassy body movement, synchronicity, intricate footwork, beautiful detailing, as well as stage presentation and confidence in performing. The course will be choreographed by Edyta Czagowiec. COMMITTMENT: The course will take place over 12 sessions after which you will need to be available for about 8 weeks of performances. The team will be training on Tuesdays at Paddington Academy mirrored dance studios. Regular attendance of the training and rehearsal sessions, as well as the subsequent attendance of the pre-planned shows is imperative for your progress and ability to perform. 12 SESSION DATES: Tues. 5 Feb Tues. 12 Feb Tues. 19 Feb Tues. 26 Feb Tues. 5 Mar Tues. 12 Mar Tues. 19 Mar Tues. 26 Mar Tues. 2 Apr Tues. 9 Apr Tues. 16 Apr Tues. 23 Apr We will also arrange for drilling sessions throughout the course and before performances if needed. PERFORMANCES: Students will have an opportunity to perform at various UK and international Salsa events and congresses. Performances will take place for about 8 weeks after the completion of training, please plan your availability accordingly to make sure you can attend the planned performances - this is essential as shows are pre-planned and pre-advertised by promoters.
