Barnes Rock organises live music events in South West London. Dance to popular rock, pop, soul and blues numbers played by well known rock stars from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s and local musicians and their bands.
Our principal venues, Barnes Rugby Club (near The Wetlands Centre in Barnes), Teddington Constitutional Club (5 Stanley Road, Teddington) and Hampton MWB Club (3 Ashley Road, Hampton) all have large dance floors.
Regular Barnes Rock bands include The 60s Allstars, The Persuaders, Robin Bibi Band, The Crawdaddies, The John Warwick Band, The Sharpees, Andrew Heart’s Rockstock and new bands are being found on a regular basis that fit our strict criteria of excellence. Musicians associated with the bands above and with Barnes Rock include John Dee and Alan Warner guitarists from the Foundations, Mick Avory, drummer from the Kinks, Alan Lovell, guitarist from The Swinging Blue Jeans, vocalist Phil May from the Pretty Things, John Dominic of the Bo Street Runners, Richard Hudson (“Hud”), drummer with the Strawbs and vocalist Don Craine of The Downliners Sect.
