I Will If You Will is a movement to get the women and girls of Bury moving. Funded by Sport England and launched by Bury Council, this initiative is about women getting together and trying something new.

I Will If You Will is funded by Sport England delivered by Bury Council, in partnership with local businesses, and health, community and social organisations.

Sport England is investing £2.3m into the programme as part of its mission to transform more lives through sport. Fewer women than men currently play sport regularly, and the organisation is determind to help more women establish lifelong sporting habits.

Talking to women about what they want - and giving it to them - is vital.

Bury has been chosen to pilot I Will If You Will, and with help and is leading the campaign, bringing together facilities, marketing, communication, coaching, organisers,  and changing rooms, to ensure the pilot is a success.

Lesson's learned from the campaign will be used to shape future, national programmes. This is Bury's chance to show the rest of the country how it's done.
