On the menu this week in London : Salsa plus Sunshine AND Pride, Wimbledon, Cricket, Euros, Grand Prix

Firstly London loses Bar Salsa in Temple and then news filters out that Bar Salsa in Soho are months away from shutting their doors.

For those who have read this newsletter over the past 16 years, there will be the understanding that London Salsa has been independently signposting salsa classes and events throughout London and the home counties, so that you can find the very best.

The demise of the biggest, then the longest running, venues will dent our scene.
The salsa teachers and party hosts that fill those venues will make their own decisions on how to keep you smiling and dancing but, undoubtedly, sadly, some will choose not to return.
We will try to keep you updated on the fresh roots. like today, where we reveal two new lesson and party nights.

The monthly Friday renewal of the late night party, Que Rico, in Balham
Launching this Friday 4th July, for a monthly event, at a state-of-the-art venue near Putney Bridge, Hammersmith, classes in salsa and bachata are followed by a social till 11pm.

The First Friday of each month also brings a DJ Hughie salsa event in Stratford, where the summer party goes on till 2m

Brand new venue and weekly for Sunday, from the established Latin Collective, a matinee in Shoreditch from 2pm till midnight or beyond. 
Starting with ladies styling, then a free intro session, followed by multiple levels of xbody salsa and bachata, wrapped up with a party that includes salsa, bachata, reggaeton & merengue.

Another Saturday event comes to Richmond on 12th July

Salsa Rapido 1-Day Intensive Course at Bar Salsa, Soho.
10.45am-4.45pm Sunday 13th July in central London.

The London LatinFest starts on Friday 18th July at The Camden .
Fuego Fridays in Camden will become a regular new Friday night for London, the launch night spearheading London LatinFest 2005, with a salsa, bachata, merengue and reggae party till 4am.

Also on Friday 18th is the monthly Latin party in Southampton.

The Sway Bar in Central London is the venue for the middle day, Saturday, of the LatinFest.
55 Workshops | 8 Djs | 4 Shows | 4 RoomsThe final part of the London LatinFest takes place on Sunday 20th July in Shoreditch, from midday to midnight.
Includes 30 workshops and a party.
