It is not going to be the summer of 1976 nor 2018 but Londoners move with the rhythm and get down to our local dance classes and parties despite the deluge of rain.

Irrespective of whether you are following the Lionesses in the Women's World Cup of football or cheering on the men's cricket teams or even both, make time to keep yourself fit and anjoy the companionship of fellow dancers in the evenings.

There is a free salsa class for absolute beginners in Putney by quoting LS126 as well as lessons in bachata and salsa plus a social for all.

On Gower Street in central London, you can claim a free first session for beginners lessons and On1 to On2 conversion lessons.

Two special offers accompany the 1-day intensive salsa course each Saturday at Bar salsa in Soho.  Offer one is for London Salsa members who can claim £5 off the advertised price, whilst offer two allows all students to take the course again - free.

There is a Salsa D'Lite party in Danbury, Chelmsford on Saturday evening, where members can claim a first time free visit, including lessons and social, by mentioning the Gobal Dance Dlite offer.

For those that enjoy dancing to live music, Richmond on Sunday starts early and finishes early and comes with a £2 discount for members visiting for the first time.

Every day of the week there are lessons throughout London, North, South, East, West and Central.

The new Kizomba Temple at Bar Salsa in Temple has a Latin Lounge with salsa as the second room.  Lessons and social till late.

From salsa and bachata in Wimbledon down south to north in Ruislip, look for the stars on site for special offers on lessons on Mondays.

Or pop into Bar Salsa in Temple around 7pm for a free into to salsa session, classes in salsa and bachata or claim your spot on the guest list.

Wednesday in Hammersmith sees a free absolute beginners lesson running simultaneously to the multiple other salsa lessons. There is also a free intro to salsa class at Bar Salsa in Soho.

NB The monthly Thursday after work salsa social in Holborn is this week this month -Conway Hall has a perfect dance floor, there are always fabulous DJs and the best dancers in London

Next week also brings El Grande in Kings Cross and the MK Summer Ball is in Kingston on 29th.
Saturday 29th is also a big day in Paddington, with 1-day intensive workshops in both salsa and bachata.
