For those who took up salsa earlier in the year, this party season is about to be the best you have ever had. You will already have gained the confidence to take to the dance floor, not only at the salsa clubs but even at the office party. This week's newsletter, as always, is stuffed full of opportunities to dance and have fun. It is a mixture of where to find lessons of all levels, special courses and, of course, dance parties. 

With no Pexava Thursday salsa social in December, they have kindly put on two for this month, starting tonight and then on 28th.  Conway Hall in Holborn has an excellent dance floor, boasts top DJs on rotation, normally has a couple of performances whilst the friendly crowd are offered a plentiful supply of free water and orange wedges at the end.

The weekend begins with a bang, as there is an El Grande at the iconic venue, SCALA, in Kings Cross, where lessons in salsa, bachata and kizomba are followed in 4-rooms of dance with 1000+ dancers till 5am.

On Gower Street, Salsa Dance Central offer On1 salsa tuition for beginners and improvers and a conversion to On2 for more advanced dancers, every Friday before their social.

Also on Friday is Putney Salsa Club where lessons are followed by a friendly social.

Saturday evening is awash with options, including the free salsa evening in Stratford hosted by DJ Hughie.

Todo Latino at Salsa Temple offer a free intro to salsa each Tuesday.

A free first timer, beginners, session is offered in Hammersmith each Wednesday.
Anyone can attend the free intro to salsa session at Bar Salsa, Soho, on Wednesdays.

Next Saturday 23rd I can see a couple of out of town events that I know will be excellent as I've been to activities organised by them in the past.

TLC and Dance2 have a full day of salsa workshops followed by a late night party in Hook.

Same Saturday Salsa Calientita in Slough will definitely give you a proper welcome even of you don't mention London Salsa.
