Hi

The sunThe sun has got it's hat on,
Hip hip hip hooray.
The sun has got it's hat on,
Time to go out and play.

Not a rhyme naturally associated to London but delightfully true, with my suggestion that salsa should be your chosen form of play.

Having set the scene, you are invited to either enjoy this newsletter and its suggestions or pop onto LondonSalsa.co.uk for even more information about salsa lessons, courses and party nights out.

With the dial turned up to warm and the weekend promising to be hot, remember to take on extra liquid and take a change of clothes.

It is a Friday night to savour, with top monthly parties as well as the weekly lesson/social combinations still on.

Putney offers bachata lesson followed by all level salsa classes and a social. Free salsa class for first time beginners when you quote LS126.

The team over at El Grande, including Leoncio of Ola Latina and Mandy of Love2Salsa, expect over 1000 dancers to attend their 4-roomed venue in Kings Cross. 2 rooms of salsa plus a kizomba and bachata room could keep you dancing till 5am.

NB. There is a one-off Salsa Fusion Friday on Great Portland St (normally Saturdays).

Whetstone Salsa, kizomba, bachata

Salsatricity will keep you warm on Saturday night in Whetstone with their mix of salsa, bachata, cha cha, kizomba and bachata.

Sunday's i2i workshop at Bar Salsa in Charing Cross is not suited to absolute beginners but ideal for people who aspire to a smoother style, where dancers seamless shift from one move to the next in complete balance with each other and the music. And there is £5 off for members.

For those that enjoy dancing to live music, Richmond on Sunday starts early and finishes early and comes with a £2 discount for members.

Before rushing into the week's regular and special lessons and parties, the big banner this week is about Any Body Can Dance (ABCD), taking place at the end of July. It is featured because right now our members, you, can claim £10 off.
Into it's 12th edition and only running once every 6 months, this event, in Chalk Farm, has afternoon workshops starting at 2pm, with the party finishing at 6am. Top teachers look after all levels in the afternoon bootcamp, covering salsa, tango, kizomba and bachata.

Every day of the week there are lessons throughout London, North, South, East, West and Central.

From Casa Latina in St Pauls way north to Ruislip, look for the stars on site for special offers on lessons on Mondays.

For Tuesday, Gilgamesh in Camden is the new home of Rueda as well as salsa lessons and special offers for London Salsa members. Slide across to Kilburn to find the £2 off classes and free social dancing.

Wednesday in Hammersmith sees a free absolute beginners lesson running simultaneously to the multiple other salsa lessons. Quote London Salsa in Hendon for your special offer on Wednesday lessons.

Launched last night in West Hampstead, a new weekly salsa and bachata evening.

Looking forward to seeing lots of you on the dance floors this week, with great tans hopefully,

Leigh and the London Salsa team
