In 2009, along with my technical partner, Andy, I set about creating LondonSalsa.co.uk as a public service that allowed Salsa professionals to list for free and members to view for free. We now have  5000+ members and hundreds of unique visitors daily that help fill the lessons, courses and social clubs in and around the capital. This has grown to over 20 sites covering all forms of dance throughout the UK and we’ve even managed to create an App for IOS and Android with the possibility of extending our reach beyond dance.

We have survived and grown by keeping costs lean and offering advertisers a competitive rate card.  Where the income hasn’t met the expenditure, I have subsidised the service however I will sadly no longer be in a position to do this as I have been diagnosed with prostate cancer and will need to undergo an operation and recovery period in the up and coming months.

If you have enjoyed our services and are as passionate as I am about the benefits that our dance community brings to people then your help will be needed to ensure that these services can continue to be provided. Otherwise it is with a heavy heart and much regret that I announce that they will have to be discontinued.

A couple of members have kindly offered to give some of their time over to writing newsletters and social media support so that will help cover some of the work that I do however it will take more than this to keep these services alive over the next few months.

2)            Do you know some potential sponsors that would like to advertise on our sites? Please ask for our advertising rate card or feel free to send me contact information and leads.

3)            Do you do Business Development or Sales for a living? I can offer good commission for any deals you make with companies adopting our App or any advertising you bring in.
