Welcome to this week's London Salsa newsletter that contains information of new venues to learn and dance salsa. Please pop back to the site to find a much wider selection.

If you are a seasoned dancer then you have already discovered that you can make a few friends, polish off a life skill and keep fit whilst having a smile of your face.

I urge you to introduce a friend.
It is a perfect time to do so, as they possibly may have enjoyed dancing on holidays and actually are thinking about it already. And if they start lessons or a course in this month, you'll have another dance partner when the holiday season hits again in December.

Remember to take in plenty of liquid and take plenty of breaks during this remarkable summer.

Friday night sees the regular bachata/salsa lesson combination followed by social in Putney is enhanced with shows from some of London's top drawer teams plus DJ Salseando.

Your late night Friday option could be Que Rico in Balham where there are lessons and a party in two rooms, one predominantly salsa and the other, bachata.

With one of the best dance floors around, Conway Hall in Holborn hosts a Pexava Saturday social.  Starting with a class On1 from Gil and Shelley there is dancing until 2am from top DJs on rotation. 

Saturday is also a Salsa Fusion night on Great Portland Street.

The Picnic in Chiswick with Let's Go Latin and Jelena Bubon on Sunday promises a chance to make new friends

Richmond's live salsa band night starts and finishes early on Sunday but you can still fit in 4.5 hours of dance and remember to claim the London Salsa £2 discount.

Salsa Clasica is the first Sunday of the month pure salsa party in Hornsey with Streetbeat and DJ Felicidad.

In Fulham the monthly salsa/bachata class/party night is also on Sunday.

Midweek salsa lessons and party nights flourish during the summer but you are advised to check with the teachers as August is holiday time for some. Here are a few we know are on.

Kizomba Temple with the Latin Lounge on Monday in Bar Salsa Temple offer lessons in semba, salsa, kizomba, bachata and salsa before the 2-roomed party till late. 

The August 4-week absolute beginners course starts on Tuesday in Northfields with the Pexava team.

London's top dancers can be found at Bar Salsa Soho each Wednesday as lessons are multiple level plus music from the very best guest Djs and fantastic dance showcases.

In Hammersmith on Wednesday absolute beginners get a free first time session whilst bachata and salsa lessons are followed by a social.

Via our network of sites, such as www.ukdance.events and the Global Dance Card app you can find dance in Central London, the suburbs, the commuter region and beyond, many with a special offer for you.

On Sunday 11th August, we hope you will join us next to the bandstand in Hyde Park  to enjoy Here to Havana live.  Obviously we'll be hoping for fine weather for an al fresco dance with fellow Londoners and visitors.
